Bead embroidery and herringbone (Ndebele) stitch are the two main techniques used to create this sinuous spray of glass, crystals and pearls. The center area, which is printed on nonwoven for easy stitching, features irregular disk pearls and Czech glass oval doublets, as well as Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls. The whole piece is backed with suede; decorations are added to the edge, including the rondelles that support the herringbone side strands. The length can easily be adjusted up to 22" to fit just about anyone. Kit includes everything you need to create the necklace and includes needles and complete directions for stitching, finishing and sizing.
