The popcorn stitch can be created with a varying number of stitches in the work. Follow the instructions for the number of stitches used in your pattern. To work the popcorn stitch in this version, yarn over, insert hook in stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through 2 lps twice. Do this 5 times so there are 5 stitches in the popcorn stitch, drop loop from hook, insert hook from front to back through top of first stitch made, pull dropped loop through stitch, yarn over, pull through loop.
