- 3-ply baby pompadour yarn* (1 3/4 oz per skein): 10 skeins white #2801
- Size F/5 crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

[Dc, picot , dc] 4 times and 4 rows = 2"

Blanket
Row 1: Ch 169, dc in 4th ch from hook, sk 1 ch, dc in next ch, p, dc in same st, [sk 2 chs, dc in next ch, p, dc in same st] rep across to last 2 chs, sk 1 ch, dc in last ch, turn. (counting last 3 chs of foundation ch as first dc, plus 1 dc 55 pattern rep, plus 1 dc)
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc throughout), dc in first st, [sk 1 dc and p, dc in next dc, p, dc in next dc] rep across to last 2 dc,sk 1 dc, dc in 3rd ch of beg ch-3, turn. Rep Row 2 until piece measures 36", at end of last row, do not turn or fasten off.
Edging
Rnd 1: Working over ends of rows, sc over first dc row, *[ch 6, sk next row, sc over next row] rep across to corner, ch 6,[sc, ch 6, sc] in corner st*, [ch 6, sc in next ch-2 sp, sk next ch-2 sp] rep across bottom to corner, ch 6, [sc, ch 6, sc] in corner st, rep from * to * on 2nd side, [ch 6, sk next p, sc in next p] rep across top to corner, ch 6, sc in corner st, ch 6, join in beg sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, [sc in next ch-6 sp, ch 6], rep around, working [sc, ch 6, sc] in each corner ch-6 sp, join in beg sc.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, [sc, ch 5, sl st in 3rd ch of ch-5, ch 2, sc] in each ch-6 sp around, join in beg sc, fasten off.
