Blunt-end tapestry needles are used for stitching plastic canvas.
Choose a No. 16 needle for stitching 5- and 7-mesh, a No. 18 for stitching 10-mesh and a No. 24 for stitching 14-mesh canvas.
A small pair of embroidery scissors for snipping yarn is handy.
Try using needle-nosed jewelry pliers for pulling the needle through several thicknesses of canvas and out of tight spots too small for your hand.
